Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series Penalizes No. 33 Wes Gonder Racing Team
Mooresville, N.C. – The Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series announced penalties Tuesday against the No. 33 Wes Gonder Racing Chevrolet, which failed post-race technical inspection at Motor Mile Speedway on Sept. 22.
Driver Jeb Burton and Wes Gonder Racing will still be credited with the victory. However, the team has been penalized all driver and owner points from the race, in addition to a monetary fine of $2,250.
The money from the fine will be placed into the season ending owner’s championship fund.
